	1998/1999 - NEW TOKYO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, NARITA - PART 1. We've all heard about the controvesy regarding this place, we just had to go capture some serious footage before that new runway opens and it becomes impossible to just about nail everything that lands here (thanks to that single runway and the farmer who wouldn't sell his acreage). You'll clearly witness the dominance of Japan Airlines at it's base of international operations along with the other domestic operatives, JAS, Japan Asia Airways, All Nippon Airways and Nippon Cargo. The international traffic here is equally interesting because there is no "come one, come all" policy, many of us are keenly aware of the difficulty of carriers to obtain landing rights at this airport, so those that come, come big, widebodies all the way! Movements here includes the now gone Continental Micronesia 747 and Continental's new 777. Also see A340s of Egyptair, Air China, China Eastern and others, we won't even go down the 747 list.

The take-offs ,landings and movements of the jumbos continue on this tape with new arrival Air Tahiti Nui's A340, 777s of Egyptair and Air China and one of the last 747SP operators, Iran Air. Let's not forget the enormous presence of Northwest (including the KLM/NW DC-10) andUnited Airlines.And Delta's MD-11s appear in old and new colors as does Sabena's A340s.

	1999 - TAIPEI, CHIANG KAI-SHEK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, CKS. The primary aerial gateway to this virtually politically isolated nation tells another story from a civil aviation perspective: we'll show you the respectable amount of international and regional traffic this airport receives including the recently redesigned Canadian Airlines International 747-400, UPS 747F, Air Macau A321s and plenty of China Airlines, EVA Air and Mandarin Airlines activity.
